Tax Information for Dunbarton Residents

Federal Income Tax

The IRS has scaled back on sending printed forms to Libraries, Banks, and Post Offices in an effort to reduce waste and encourage e-filing.  The Dunbarton Public Library has not received any Federal tax forms this year.  Tax forms can be ordered online at www.irs.gov or by calling 1-800-829-3676.  You can also fill out many of the forms online at www.irs.gov and then print them out for filing by mail.

New Hampshire Business and Interest and Dividends Taxes

The New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration has supplied us with a copy of "Package X" which contains all the state tax forms to be photocopied for filing.  If you need your own copy of Package X or individual forms, please call the Forms Line at (603) 271-2192, or check the NHDRA website at www.nh.gov/revenue.  Options for e-filing are also on the website.

Massachusetts Income Tax

If you work in Massachusetts, you can find the forms you'll need to file your state tax return at www.mass.gov under the Department of Revenue > For individuals and Families > Personal Income Tax > Forms and Publications.

Local Property Taxes

Questions about your local property taxes should be directed to the Tax Collector.  Tax rates for the past three years can be found here.  (Scroll down about half way.)
